YOUTH PADDLE CLUB
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 SEASON IS NOW OPEN
(Ages 9 to 18)
There will be 4 blocks offered this season. Each block includes 5 sessions. (See dates below.) You may register for as many blocks as you like. Regattas are optional and at an additional cost.
Fees
$85.00 for the first block that you register for, $42.50 for any subsequent block.

Block 1
Monday Evenings - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
May 12th to June 9th
Fees due by April 28th
Option to compete in the Port Perry Regatta
June 14th, 2025
Additional cost of $90 to cover the entry fee to the regatta.
Min of 16 participants required.
Non-refundable once you register
Block 2
Monday Evenings - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
June 16th to July 14th
Fees due by June 2nd
Block 3
Tuesday Evenings – 6:00pm to 7:00pm
July 22nd to August 19th
Fees due by July 8th
Block 4
Monday Evenings – 6:00pm to 7:00pm
August 25th to September 22nd
Fees due by Aug. 11th
Option to compete in the Christie Lake Regatta (Dundas Ontario)
September 20th, 2025
Additional cost of $90 to cover the entry fee to the regatta.
Min of 16 participants required.
Non-refundable once you register
Registration is not complete until payment is received.
Fees are non-refundable. (However, in the event a block is cancelled by GDBC your fees will be refunded.)
In the event of a cancellation of a session due to weather, the make-up session will occur on the following Thursday.
PFD's are available for sign out, size adult small and up. If the participant requires a smaller PFD it will be the responsibility of the parent to provide one. Inflatables are not permitted.

Our Youth Team had a very successful first season. Ages ranging from 10 to 16. They competed at the Christie Lake Dragon Boat Festival in September placing 2nd in the E Division. They were the youngest team competing against adults as well as experienced paddlers as there was no dedicated youth division. We are very proud of their accomplishments.
